Interesting statement in the comment section: I was in St Petersburg Russia 2 weeks ago at the Russia Africa summit and it is nothing like any Summit or Convention that I've ever seen on TV or been a part of, the Russians were taking notes engaging and listening to what every African leader business person had to say they treated them as equals. They did not talk down to them or speak as if they were below them. Like you normally see at US-Africa summit or NATO-Africa summits this resonated with the leaders. So there's no turning back, Russia is definitely in Africa to stay and they are being welcomed by its Leaders as a change to Wesyern dominance and control."
